[Guide] Freelancing

Freelancing is a form of RP-ing which you don't use for gaining money or experience, but for character development. You can use freelance threads for writing background stories on your character, or stories that will help you to work out your character's personality. You can also start a freelance thread to have fun with some friends.

Starting a thread

You start by creating a new thread in the freelance forum (http://rp.neko-koneko.nl/viewforum.php?f=19). First you copy this template and fill it out to start of the freelance thread (you can copy it by quoting this post and copying the BB code for the template below):

Name: Name of the story
Participants: None
Hijacking: yes/no

Outline of Mission: This is a sample story. You'll have to summarize what you plan to accomplish in the freelance story. This may change as you go along, but it'll give others a basic.

Name

Every story has a name, so your freelance story will need a name.

Participants

State who is joining you from the start. If nobody is, just enter only your character's name here.

Hijacking

Hijacking can be answered with yes or no. When you use yes, you'll allow other people to enter the story and add their own twist to it. This can be nice for threads that don't have to follow a specific storyline and are mostly meant for fun, or for developing your character with other characters (and you just don't mind who decides to tag along). When you select no, only the people specified under "Participants" may join the freelance mission.

Note: You may only be active in one freelance plot at a time. You have to leave one before you may join another.

Is it possible for Ichigo's Forum to open up another forum so the freelancer threads can go there?

The link appears to be broken here so I was just suggesting so it can help people with broken links as well.
