[History] The Creation of Rael (10,000,000BC - 312RC)

In the beginning, there was nothing but an empty void. In this void there was nothing. No light, no darkness, no warmth and no cold. The only things that existed in this void were the Gods. One day, Baasar, the God of the earth, decided that with his power, he could create a giant hollow ball of sand and stones and dust. And so he did. The ball was irregular of shape, but Baasar was pleased at first, but then started to feel something was missing. Then along came Grazus, the God of water. He looked upon the irregular ball and said that maybe water was wat Baasar was missing. So he filled the surface of the ball with water. Due to the irregular shape, some parts were left dry, thus creating the oceans and the continents. The water flew freely between the continents for a while but then froze. Then came Zoshnel, who looked at the ball and decided the newly formed world needed heat. The inside of the ball was filled with the hottest fire and the water started flowing again. But now the inside of the planet was burning and it became too hot. The goddess of wind, Hainiel, knew the answer to this. With her soothing breeze she cooled the planet. Now the only thing they needed was light to illuminate the world, and forth came Ruhma, the God of light to shine his light upon the planet.

The five Gods looked upon the planet and they were pleased with their World. They created the plants and all living beings to live on their world. On the land, there would be humans. In the many forests, there would be elves. The seas would be inhabited by the Levians. These three races lived in harmony with each other, and they would worship their Gods.

Everything seemed right, but was it? From the shadows of the void a dark figure was watching what they were doing, feeling jealous and left out. As the five Gods had put themselves to rest after their hard work, the Goddess of darkness and arch enemy of Ruhma, Infernia, came forth and looked upon the planet. As she approached the planet, it became engulfed in darkness. The people on the surface panicked. What was this darkness? Had their Gods forsaken them? They started praying and singing, which woke the slumbering Gods. As Ruhma approached the world one half became illuminated again. The other half, however, remained in darkness as Infernia hid behind the planet. The other Gods looked around the planet, but couldn’t see anything in the darkness. As they called for Ruhma, Infernia quickly moved around the world. As Ruhma and Infernia switched places, the darkness moved from one half of the planet to the other. Ruhma went to the other side again, but so did Infernia. The two Gods started chasing eachother around the planet, thus creating the cycle of day and night. After some time, the people on the surface became used to this phenomenon, and they used the dark periods to rest so that during the periods of light, they would be rested and do their work.
