Alexander holds his hair in an untidy tussle. He has the bad habit of flicking his head to the right so that his fringe doesn't cover his eyes, but slant slightly across his forehead.

Biography: The Cyrus family is one that holds power, influence and authority in South Zoshnel. For generations the family was the head of all social circles and enjoyed the spotlight. Having major holdings in the fishing, mining and farming industries, they were considered among the richest in Rael. Throwing weekly parties, they flouted their wealth, and wowed all who attended.

The family was large, with five sons and four daughters. They constantly bickered and fought. Many quarrels started over inheritance and over the eldest son, Aeran. Among them all, he was the most lazy, but his parents turned a blind eye to it. This infuriated his younger brothers and sisters, as they worked hard for their families success.

The months passed, and the hatred began to turn from Aeran to Kale, the father. During a quiet thursday night, Kale's body was found in the study, dead.

The news had spread like wildfire. Within a week, the companies that the Cyrus family had ties with had come to a crashing halt. Having lost faith in the family, and with the head of the family murdered, many businessmen abandoned their contracts. A week later, Kale's wife committed suicide further deepening the family in the shadow of doubt and instability.

A day afterward, Aeran and his younger brother, Belfas dueled in public. After slaying his brother, Aeran was shot in the back by an unknown person in the crowd. The Cyrus Manor in Oculos was ransacked by a large group of youths. During the attack, one of the four daughters went missing, and another was killed. The local authorities arrived too late.

The family was dishonoured. Only half of it still stood, and among them, no-one knew who murdered their father. Leaving each other, they went their separate ways. Among them, Alexander was the first to leave, disgusted at their weakness.

Ten years had passed since these events. During that time, not much in known of what Alexander did. Many say he died not long afterward, and others said he spent time at an academy dedicated to Ruhma. What is known for certain, is that he did not keep his birth name. To the world of Rael, no-one knows what Alexander has changed his name to.

The Cyrus Family Tree:

Name: Kale Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Male, Father, Head of the Cyrus family.
Status: Confirmed Dead

Kale Cyrus took over the Cyrus household after his father died at the ripe age of seventy three. He was a worthy heir and doubled the profits from their farming corporation by revolutionising the work distribution. He and his wife got along well, and she is not a suspect for his murder.

Name: Asera Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Female, Mother, Wife of Kale Cyrus.
Status: Confirmed Dead

Being the mother of nine children did not seem to take its toll on Asera. She aged gracefully, loving each of her children equally. Thought she had a brief period of mental instability, she was not a suspected murderer of Kale Cyrus. Shortly after her husbands death, she was found dead in her bedroom, a revolver by her side.

Name: Aeran Cyrus
Gender/Occuptation: Male, Son, Former co-owner and director of Cyrus Enterprises™.
Status: Confirmed Dead

Among the children, Aeran was the sluggard. Bestowed with good looks and a sharp tongue, he never lived to see his twenty fifth birthday. Shot in the back by an unidentified person, he was the second among the children to fall. He was responsible for the death of his younger brother, Belfas.

Name: Asme Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Female, Daughter, Former Ambassador to Cyrus Enterprises™.
Status: Confirmed Dead

Asme worked day and night for the company, and never tired from her labour. She traveled far and wide, spreading the word of her father company to all of Rael. However, she lost her life when their Manor was attacked by a falling chandelier. She was twenty four at the time.

Name: Aerith Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Female, Daughter, Former Speaker for Cyrus Enterprises™.
Status: Location unknown

During the attack on the Cyrus Manor, Aerith disappeared. There are rumours that she has been spotted in a small village near Carayos, but they have not been confirmed.

Name: Maurice 'Mary' Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Female, Daughter, Former Director of Veslak Mining, a Cyrus Enterprise™ sister-company.
Status: Location unknown

Maurice was the prime suspect in the murder of Kale Cyrus. She worked day and night to promote Veslak Mining, her main company. While it did have close ties to Cyrus Enterprises™, it could be easily severed, and become a stand alone company. Days before Kale's murder, Mary suggested heavily during dinner to allow Veslak to become more independent. This did not bode well with the rest of the family.

Name: Zereek Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Male, Son, Former Debt Collector
Status: Location unknown

The art of debt collecting rarely uses the form of violence. The best collectors rarely use weapons, however, Zereek did have occasion to use his pistols. A superb marksman, he had never failed a job, making his father proud. He was the most secret of them all, and would be the least likely to be found. There has been no hint of his whereabouts.

Name: Belfas Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Male, Son, Former Ambassador to Cyrus Enterprises™.
Status: Confirmed Dead

Belfas was killed by his brother in a public duel. He was convinced it was Aeran who kill their father, and he challenged him to a duel in the streets of Oculos. Being the inferior swordsman, he suffered a shameful defeat. However, his death wasn't in vain, as Aeran was killed moments after by an anonymous member of the crowd.

Name: Sevell 'Hawk' Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Male, Son, Former Product Inspection Officer
Status: Location unknown

Nicknamed 'Hawk' for his sharp eye, this man could see a fault from a mile off. Paying attention to every detail paid off, and he was quickly promoted to head of the Cyrus Inspection chain. Defects in product decreased dramatically when he was in charge, however, job turnover did as well. Many employees felt too pressured, and soon quit. He was the only Cyrus child who took an interest in Alchemy, and did so behind his parents backs.

Name: Priscilla Cyrus
Gender/Occupation: Female, Daughter, Former Freelancer
Status: Confirmed Dead

Priscilla moved from branches to branches, never rooting herself in any position. She soon created a role for herself as freelancer, something which Kale approved. She worked week in, week out in different departments, overseeing many projects. Taking her job very seriously, she was ruthless in finishing a specific target. Priscilla is one of the people with the least motive to murder her father, as she often expressed her love to her parents with gifts and many trips home.

Name: Alexander 'The Eagle' Cyrus
Preferred name/Alias: Stefen Demetrius.
Gender/Occupation: Male, Son, Former High Stakes Businessman for Cyrus Enterprises™.
Status: Location unknown

The Eagle is a fitting name for Alexander. Out of nowhere, he arrives and manages to sum up large profits for the company. For days at a time, he stalks his prey in order to many shiny coin. It was his job and he did it well. The protagonist of this family, he is also the youngest. His mother often scolded him in his youth for his untidy hair, but he always talked his way out of it. One of his many gifts is his tongue.

Equipment: An AT-2700 'Fluxe' Capacator, modified clockwork guitar. The sound it produces is both similar to an Earth-like electric guitar/acoustic guitar. A brass toggle allows Alex to change from one mode to the other. Costing over a years average wage, Alexander was presented this beauty for his 15th birthday. It had a black strap which can be adjusted to sit comfortably on the small of his back, or in front of him in playing stance. It is blood red, with brass pipes. The strings are coated with gold shavings, producing the most purest sound. It is his most prized possesion, and he carries it with him as much as possible.

More details:
The guitar is not too different from Earth, modern day guitars, in terms of it's shape. It is played in the same way, only without the need to plug into an amplifier. To play acoustically, a small hole retracts near the bridge of the guitar, allowing the sound to enter into its body and echo off the Balsa wood. When the 'electric' mode is activated, the clockwork is started by a small burst of steam. By constantly feeding minute amounts of coal into the left chamber, sound waves are amplified by passing through the 'Capacator.' Details of how this works is difficult to spell out, and harder to follow. For the few people who have heard it being played, label it as a, 'magical string instrument.' It is more popular amoung the teenage population, with the older population of Rael wanting to ban them for good.

Alex's paricular model has been modified to suit his arm length and shoulder slope. Burnishing it with his favourite colour; red, he rubbed some sections of the edge back to its metal giving it a worn feel. He makes sure that the brass tubes are polished well, and tunes each string daily thanks to being pitch perfect.

Physical Abilities:

Ferah 'Molte Move':

This skill is simple to explain. It allows Alex to move fast, and create the illusion that there are more than one of him. To be able to use this skill, his Fluxe must be strapped to his back, otherwise safely strapped to him or disarmed. He is able to sprint over short distances, easily evading any incoming ranged attacks. While using this skill, he can easily disorientate his enemy, but cannot use his Fluxe or any other skill.

Magical/Alchemical/Technological Abilities:

Ferah 'Yellow Disc':

During the ten years of silence, Alex spent a solid chunk of that time in a Light Academy. Ruhma, the god of light seemed to bless Alex with the ability to form a strong defensive shield. To activate it, Alex puts one or two hands in front of him (depending on how strong he wants to make it). A thin yellow Disc, made purely of light hovers in front of his body, transparent. It is able to slow down and weaken any magical attack that passes through it. Dark attacks can be slowed, but not weakened. Any physical attack will rebound completely off the shield, ie; Bullets, Arrows, Punches. However, with that being said, if he is struck on his body where his sheild isn't blocking (his sides or back) he will suffer more than normal.

Soundipulation:

Alex has the ability to improvise in almost any genre of music that Rael has to offer. From Hardcore to Oriental, Elf Dance to Orc March, Alex has played them all. During battle, Alex can play in any enemies genre, and can cause them to amplify their mood. If they are angry, he can make them even more angry. If they are in pain, he can make them feel more pain. If they feel happy, he can make them want to rejoice. By using this, he can force his opponent to make simple, stupid errors.

Ferah 'Sound Tunnel':

By projecting sound waves at his enemy, Alex can force them to become vunerable. The main way to achieve this is to play extremely loud music, and 'tunnel' it to his enemy. The intended target will cringe, and more often than not, drop their weapons in an attempt to stop their ears. Alex can direct the sound waves so that, while his enemy is in pain, someone standing right next to them wouldn't hear a thing. This skill has no effect whatsoever on deaf people.

Song of the Ages/Totalum Apocalypto:

Every Bard has one masterpiece. One song, one ballad, one sonnet which they favor among all others, and can play perfect time and time again. This is no different for Alex. This song can be used any time out of battle, but has a one use against one person during battle. Once it is used against a specifec person during battle it cannot be used on that person again. But, being a one use skill, it's power is greater than most. There is no set guidelines to this skill, no real parameters in which it's measured. In some cases, the song could revert his enemy back to his/her childhood, and render them oblivious to the here and now. Other times it could feel as if each note is a gunshot, with Alex using Sound Tunnel to 'shoot' his enemy. Whatever he uses this particular song for, it is one to be feared in battle.

NB: Alex will very rarely use this skill, pvp or not. It takes a huge toll physically, mentally and magically on his body. He has only performed it once before, and didn't regain consciousness for three weeks.

Support Abilities:

The Inside Man/De intérieur homé:

This is what Alex does to throw off his enemy in battle. Taking the thought that you should defeat your enemy before you start to battle. In a nutshell, Alex can find out about any persons history. Their past. What they've done during their life until the moment he sees them. While he does not go under the name Alexander Cyrus, he still has many contacts which he keeps alive, and one of his men can give him information. He knows a whole range of other people who are willing to sell him information. Whether it be a fisherman, or a prince, Alex can find out almost everything about their life.

Don't underestimate this in being a non-pvp skill. Alex can wreak havoc with this, tearing into his enemy with knowledge of their wrongdoings, their birth place, their parents. With his natural skill of being well spoken, he can do more damage than you think. This skill can only be used to effect against people who are one level above him and any number of levels below him.

NPC profile's

Name: Bardus Foreit
Colour: Teal
Race: Human
Class: Knight
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Alignment: Good[-|-----------]Evil ---------- Saintly

Appearance:

Bardus is a physically imposing man. He always carries at least one weapon with him at all times. His sword was given to him by his father, and has been passed down for ten generations. He has a custom made dagger which cannot be seen on his person. His normal attire consists of a buttoned pinstripe jacket resting on a blood red tunic. Dark grey pants are held up by a thick leather belt, his scabbard attached to it. He rarely takes off his jacket, even in hot temperatures. He is very conscious of his muscle, and tries to hide it whenever possible, delighting in the element of suprise.

Biography:

Being trained at the finest academy in South Zoshnel, he served the Cyrus family and protected his main subject, Alexander. Utilising the form Show Tau, he draws out fights and aims to prolong them as much as possible. Due to his fitness, he is confident he could outrun/outfight any opponent.

After the schism of the Cyrus family, Bardus continued his servitude and became Alex's companion. He alone knows what Alex did during the ten years of silence. He trusts Alex complicity, as Alex trusts him. The two men have experienced many perils together, and are closer than brothers. They have similar opinions concerning ideologies and religion, and rarely bicker. When they do, it never lasts longer than a day.

Like his forefathers, Bardus is willing to give up his life in exchange for Alex's. He has saved Alex from near death a few times, and Alex has returned the favor. He no longer feels like an employee of the non-existent Cyrus family, but rather a close, well respected friend.

Name: Franz Cohen
Race: Human
Class: Mercenary
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Alignment:
Good[-----------|-]Evil ---------- Depraved

Apperance:

Considered an oddity by many, Franz clothes himself in a long flowing cloak that almost drags along the floor as he walks. He has one weapon and that is his trusty six shooter. The revolver looks older than time itself, but Franz never lets it out of sight. He wears a medium sized top hat, and a collared white shirt. Enjoying the casual cigar, this man can be mistaken for a wealthy businessman. He is nothing of the kind however.

Biography:

Coincidentally, Alex has met Franz in many different places, at different times. Seemingly always bumping into each other, Alex followed him for a time, but lost the trail. It has been a year since they last met, and Alex prefers it that way. Luckily, Alex has kept his original identity hidden from this man.

Franz was born in Gigulos, and lived with his parents until he was eighteen. He left home after killing his father who had killed his wife in a drunken rage. Lost, and with no family or friends to support him, he kept to himself, living off the land and travelling all around Rael. Along the path he experienced many dangers and adventures, strengthening his character. The revolver was stolen from a rich merchant, and is Franz's most prized possesion.

When he turned twenty three, he began advertising himself as a mercenary. It took half a year for the word to spread, and many people sought his services. He was reliable, and many employers payed handsomely to gain his attention. Initially, he worked with some code of honor, not perfoming jobs that were ruthless and unethical, but over time, the rules became grey and murky, and before long he was just as black as any other.

Skill Book

Physical Abilities:

Ferah 'Molte Move':

Level One: Alex can move fast enough to create one illusion. However, he may be prone to falling over.
Level Two: Alex can move fast enough to create two illusions. He is less likely to fall over at this point.
Level Three: Alex can create three illusions now. He will not fall at this stage.
Level Four: Alex can create four illusions.
Level Five: Alex can create five illusions, and can taunt his enemy while doing so.

Magical/Alchemical/Technological Abilities:

Ferah 'Yellow Disc':

Level One: Alex can create a flimsy shield, prone to shattering when being attacked. He can deflect very light attacks only. Dark spells are not affected.
Level Two: The shield is a little stronger, but will still break against strong attacks. Dark spells are not affected.
Level Three: The shield is able to deflect medium strength attacks, and slow down dark attacks slightly.
Level Four: The shield can deflect weak physical attacks, and can slow down ranged attacks quite easily. However, he will feel weakened after casting it.
Level Five: The shield is now impenetrable to physical attacks, and can slow down ranged spells by a great deal. Dark attacks do not lose their potency, but can be slowed.

Soundipulation:

Level One: Alex is nervous when playing, and will easily make a mistake. If he makes a mistake while playing, his enemy can gain an easy advantage.
Level Two: Alex is improving his technique, but still makes a few errors.
Level Three: Alex is now confident with his playing. If he is facing an enemy that is already angry/happy or feeling a certain emotion, he can amplify it slightly.
Level Four: Alex can amplify his opponents emotions a little more, but only if his opponent is already feeling it.
Level Five: Alex can now create an emotion in his opponents body, making them feel whatever he pleases. Only the strongest of foes can fight this off.

Ferah 'Sound Tunnel':

Level One: The invisible 'tunnel' is very shaky, and is more likely to boomerang around to Alex than hit his enemy.
Level Two: The tunnel is more pronounced now, but has a certain amount of echo. Half of the strength of the spell is sent back to Alex.
Level Three: The echo is less of a problem at this stage. If he catches his opponent off guard, this spell will cause them to flinch.
Level Four: The echo is non-existent, and any sound that Alex sends is not sent back. His opponent will be momentarily stunned.
Level Five: Alex can stun his enemy a great deal, even disarming themselves to block their ears. They will feel disorientated.

Song of the Ages/Totalum Apocalypto:

Max: This skill has no levels for a simple reason. Alex uses almost all of his physical/mental/magical strength simply to perform this spell, and it is never the same. Ruhma can shoot rays of light, send down lightning, buildings can topple, earthquakes triggered etc. It takes Alex a few minutes to start the spell, and get his song going. The longer he plays, the worse it becomes. The one time Alex used this spell, he only played 1/4 of it, and nearly died. He is much less likely to use it, than to use it. This skill can't be used until he reaches level ten.

Support Abilities:

The Inside Man/De intérieur homé:

Level One: Alex will make simple mistakes, such as mixing up the personal history of his enemy. This skill has a very low success rate.
Level Two: Alex is more skilled at taunting his enemies, but can still make stupid mistakes.
Level Three: Alex can near fluent in tearing down an enemies defenses. He can easily weave words that can infuriate his opponent. If his enemy has an unknown past, it is harder to do this.
Level Four: Alex can bait his enemy quite easily now, taking less concentration, no matter the background.
Level Five: Alex is now professional at baiting his enemy.

There's only one thing that I'm not so sure about, and that's your überskill. If you want to keep it as it is, you can't use it in PvP, because, if it knocks you out for three days, it'll basically cause you to lose the match :P So you should either change it (include levels, make it weaker) or add a note that it's not meant for Pvp battles.

I know that it has the potential to knock me out. That's the whole point of it. If I was in a battle, I wouldn't use it until my very last post. And another thing, he is LESS likely, to use it, than to actually use it. So I wouldn't even use it.

But, to tone it down, I'll make sure I can't use until I reach level 10. How's the sound?

If you want a suicide move that's fine with me :P Just don't use it because, unless your opponent is totally rubbish, it'll cost you the match :P Approved
