As you might have noticed, there aren't new missions around all the time. In fact, it's sometimes quite hard to think up new mission outlines. At one point we've covered pretty much all the popular film and music titles, which would force us to look into obscure B-movies and nobody wants to write a mission about a lame-arsed clown called Killjoy, now do you?

Anyway, you, yes, YOU, can help us putting up new missions and even make a nice bit of pocket money from that by earning 500 GP for each mission of yours that's used by the moderators. Of course, you can't go ahead and complete your own missions because that would be rather silly (although I demand exception is made for me since I make up most missions around here) so your spark of creativity will have to wait until someone else thinks up a mission for you. Anyway, here's a template, feel free to post mission ideas in this thread.

Mission 1: Your First Mission
Requirements: None
Post Length: 1,000 Characters
Alignment: Any
Level: Any
Cost: 0 GP

Rewards:
#GP + ??? bonus GP for creativity/character development/humour
#EXP + ??? bonus EXP for creativity/character development/humour
*Possible Item
*Possible Merit/Flaw Change
*Possible Side Ability
*optional

Outline of Mission: This is a sample mission. The mission outline will be placed here. This tells you what the mission is about and what you need to do to complete it. The way you go about completing the mission is your choice.

Here's some hints:

You can get inspiration from movies, song titles, book etc.
The general guideline is 1 EXP/GP for each 10 characters. So a 9000 character mission will reward 900 EXP/GP (+additional bonuses). Of course, you can change this if you want.

Possibility of keeping the Ruby

Outline of Mission: You come across a simple peasant during your travels. He asks you if you can find a cursed ruby that is deposited somewhere in the mountains. The cursed ruby is a family treasure of his, and he lost it when he migrated from his homeland. You agree to his task and rush off before he says anything more, but you seem to notice that he didn't have anything else to say, not even mentioning a reward. The cursed ruby in a folk legend is a ruby that brings upon the holder an intense desire for material items, and people who hold the ruby for a long period of time feel unable to dispose of the ruby before it is too late. You soon learn of this tale, but what do you do? The ruby can sell for a high price, but is it worth the risk of losing your control over greed? Is the folk legend true?

Outline of Mission: The mountain range in northwestern Grazus has always been home to cold chills and frights, especially its tallest peak, named Testate Summit. As moons pass and the days draw nearer to All Hallow's Eve, stories and rumors of dangerous creatures lurking about the mountain paths are traveling throughout the lands in growing intensity.

Many are doubtful of the dark tales; it is more likely that the mere dead silence of Testate Summit is driving people mad. How insane is it to think that the barrier between the living and the dead could actually be breaking apart? Whatever the reason, people seem to be disappearing there more and more.

Some say it could be zombies, some say it could be some mutant species just beginning to emerge from the depths of the mountain's caves and caverns. But what about the mysterious old couple rumored to be living in an isolated log cabin in middle of the mountain range? Are they dead already, or do they hold valuable information that could unlock the mysteries that surround Testate Summit itself?
