Graphics Contest

Members of Project-Eva and Anime-Neko should still remember them: the Rank images, little images under the name of certain users indicating their position on the forums. I talked to Gand and Spoon about this, and they agreed to me organizing this little contest to create new Rank images for this forum.

The max dimensions are 140x50, anyone can enter. Please post your submission in this thread, in a week I'll create a poll in which we'll decide who will win. The winner's rank images will be used for real.

Keep in mind, we need rank images for:

- Administrator
- Global Moderator
- Moderator

All in different colours to make the difference clear of course :) I hope I'm clear enough, if there's any questions feel free to ask them ^_^

I'd like to have images for everyone... replacing the "pip" system we have now... so no, it wouldn't be only for admins. when you get a certain number of posts, the image would change.

You should not do that Gand, certain people will spam like hell just to get a new image <_< Best is to get rid of ranks in general, and also the pips. Anything that indicates a higher post count.

I gotta agree with angelic. The ranks caused a bit a headache from the spamming at AN X_X

ooh, the strawberry theme is spiffy

keep in mind that it should blend well with the skins, so you'll probably want to make two versions (pink and blue)

They might be kinda blurry -- they started out really big, so I just kept shrinking them. Hopefully they turned out OK. ^_^

Oooo, okay - I thought about doing that but wasn't sure if the forum would support it! ^_^ I'll get to work on a blue and a pink version in that case instead of trying to combine the two - it would match better anyway and pacify the anti-pinkists out there ;)

Ooo, I can see them now - they look nice! Like the different colours too :) Weird how they weren't showing up before, it was just a red x saying "User posted image" - might just be my puter playing up :) I like Blackmage's ones too - very in keeping with the music theme of the site! :P

Here's my second attempt - these are for the blue and pink skins, plus I found a nifty way of doing text so it looks all shadowed and cool :D

Edit: I wasn't sure whether to leave the original designs up there, but I have deleted them as it could be a bit unfair to post multiple entries :)
