vBulletin 3.5 went gold yesterday, and I updated the forums to 3.5. There are all sorts of handy features, but the one I've *really* been looking forward to is database post-marking.
Let's say you sit down to browse your unread posts on Ichigo's, but get distracted by something. 20 minutes pass. You return only to find all your posts have been marked as read. No more! Posts will only be marked as read if 1) you read them or 2) you mark the forum they are in as read.
Because of this, the timeout is back down to 15 minutes and I've reset the "most online count"
PLEASE let me know if you encounter any problems with 3.5!

thanks a bunch gand :D
there seems to be a thing with threads with many pages, where it has the last 10 pages listed up teh top, but then has a number which, in the case of general chat, is 400 pages below teh previous one. is this supposed to happen?

fixed a couple of javascript errors, the most nasty of which was where clicking on a username wouldn't pop up the menu x_x also fixed the skin quick chooser.
mystery_editor: er... I'm not seeing what you're talking about. Could you explain further?

Go go Gandmeister! :D
Oh, one thing... all the threads that I invisiblised to make the RP section tidy (as I can't hard-delete any threads ) have reappeared, and there's no invisible option anymore... any way of kinda exterminating them?

well, the pages are numbered correctly, but the 89 at the beggining seems to make no sense. any ideas?

Ease of navigation I presume.
Notice how page numbers increasingly decrease as they move further away from 589.

hmm, i didn't actually notice all of that before :heh: it does make sense to have it there.

That new post marking function works like shite x_x I press the "mark all forums read" button all the time, but everytime I come back all the posts that were made after the upgrade appear as new again. It's so annoying =_=

Try clearing your cookies (rather, any cookies set by forums.ichigos.com if you use FF or Opera). That should fix it.

yeah,, but now the forum games aren't at the front page anymore, so now you first got to click the 'everyday chatter' first and than 'forum games'. Pretty annoying
(Not negatively meant, cause I think what you do for ichigo rocks :punk: )
