10,000 registered members

Yesterday Ichigo's Forums hit registered member #10,000! :bigsmile:

alinaxa registered on Oct 28th, 2006 5:02:16 pm PDT to become member #10,000. alinaxa wins a free ploking :ploke: XD

Many of the 10,000 are not active, but over half our registered members have at least logged in in the past 6 months and there's always a whole bunch of active members on the forums at any given time.

We've come a long way since member #1. Thanks to our admins, moderators, and everyone who helps make this such a great place!

btw, ASF has been around since 2002 and like us has never purged inactive members, but they only have 4881 members :bleh:

ChristopherArmalite, you're not a wuss for not drinking beer. Last time I tasted a little beer at a party, I was told after I woke up that I was dancing around for hours while crying. (Everyone had a good time but me...turns out I'm a sad drunk who dances and has no tolerance to beer. A sad sight to behold<_< ) But yeah, 10,000 members is something to be happy about though I'd go for some grape juice.

Meh, I was actually alot younger at that time if you must know (maybe 5 or 6) and it was actually the first time I tasted beer. It was a family party and some of the adults brought beer. My grandpa gave me some because I asked him what it tasted like.... my grandpa isn't the brightest person when it comes to things like that (he had a hard time explaining when they found out I was actually drunk). Can't really say that I have no tolerance to beer since I was a child then... and I was probably crying because they said I was throwing up everywhere. Sorry to confuse everyone but some of the smaller details slipped my mind. I think I can handle it now but I'll wait to my 21th birthday to be safe. I don't want to be taped if that happens again.

Actually... The forum reopened april of 2004. We gained our 10 000th member late this month. It took 20 months to gain 10 000.

If we continue on our current trend, it'll take about 2 000 months to get there, or 167 years. So your guesstmate is quite close.

So it should only take as M said around 2 peoples life times put together, which means that whenever we have children then we will have to getting friends and everybody else who wants to join without feeling legally binding to stay on. So they will be working around the clock to achieve this goal.

I'm in too but I'm not sure my kids would (who knows what the hell they'll end up doing). I'll trying to get my little brother to join though but he's in my space (oh god I hate that place with a passion). This is the first forum, site or whatever that I ever joined and I have no intention in the near future of leaving.:lol:

There's 1,516 people that never confirmed their registration, so we'll probably delete them sooner or later. The server isn't having any problem with all this, and the entire DB is less than 200 megs, so there's not really any reason to delete stuff except for people name-squatting good names.
