But please try to stay as close to the midi previously posted. It's amazing. Truely you must listen. I do not need it in any certain format eithor. I have finale.

I highly recommend Sibelius - easier to learn, easier to use, and less of the "HOW THE &!$ DO I DO ___"-factor.

Oh, and Squeenix released the Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections last week on the 27th. If you haven't already, buy/obtain it somehow and listen to the last track - Concert Paraphrase on "Dearly Beloved."

Okay guys, I may sound like a crazy old coot but does anyone have the full Orchestral version of Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts 2. I repeat, ORCHESTRAL. I don't mean the version at the title screen with some strings a little woodwind and piano- I mean the version at the end of the credits. I think it starts off as Passion, but phases into Dearly Beloved.

I have been searching for ages and no one seems to get what I mean :(

You're sure you don't mean "Fantasia Alla Marcia", that's the song in the secong set of credits. After all of the credits in the scene on Destiny Islands there's a version of "Destiny Islands" and "Hand in Hand", and on the THE END screen there's just a piano playing "Dearly Beloved". Not counting the secret video, that's all the music in the end of KHII. Are you sure you're thinking of the secong one?

I now have a new laptop. I used to have Finale Notepad 2008 on my old PC. Well, now I have Finale Notepad 2009 and it says it's only available to save and print for 30 days! D: I want to be able to download and upload and export any and all KH music that I can because I am starting college real soon and want to be able to play with my friends.

Oh, what do I do? On NotePad 2008 I was free to do any and everything for unlimited amount of time!... not 30 days demo. ughh. Can someone please help me? I am NOT a n00b at this; I am quite a composer if I should say so myself. >_>

seriously?! no, i haven't tried printing yet. I'm on my new laptop and about to leave for college soon. there is really no sense installing the printer in my laptop without the printer at.... hmmm...! that is a good idea! I just might install the printer after all! although I've heard that there is a printer available to anybody and everybody at the music department I will be in.. so... I dunno! :D

Transcribed it by ear, so it might be a bit off (i think the strings are slightly off).

I've started working on the Cavern of Remembrance. I had real trouble finding the right notes for the drum beat (its still wrong, but meh, I'll work on it). I also had to synthesise my own soundfont to make the clicky noise. Also in the score, ignore the 3rd drum stave. I've so far got up to just before where the main melody starts. Tell me what you think

Sorry about that! I think I worded it a bit awkardly! Anyway, is there anyway to lower the key or such? In tabs, the song goes to fret 29, and my guitar certainly doesn't have 29 frets... Can you help?

By the way, what I was trying to say earlier was if it was possible to transpose the violin part of the song from 0:11-0:31 in the song over the normal piano background melody that plays then. The song shifts (in terms of audibility) from piano to violin then to piano again. The piano takes up the biggest chunk of the song, but it doesn't contain all of the melody as mentioned above. Of course when translating the midi in Finale, it puts the piano as the dominant part, leaving out the violin. Would one go about changing that by removing the piano portion of the song there and simply copying the violin part onto it? In theory, that would allow the guitar to play the main audible melody, even if it is spread across two instruments.

Personally, I use sibelius for scoring. I find finale really hard to use. In sibelius when i open up the midi it displays the piano and violin so Im still not sure how to do what you want :P

The midi version when imported into sibelius is unsimplified and untidy. The origianl score version is much tidier and easier to follow (although more insturments are used so you will have to bear with that!).

I tried to clean it up as must as possible!

Unfortunately, I don't think (or I just plain don't know) that I can convert it to a PDF format. Maybe someone else might be able to. I'll check to see if I can. If so, I'll bring it up.

I've written piano sheet music for The 13th Dilemma. I worked on Xald's version so the first 20 bars are the same as his, but I've changed the rest so it sounds more like the original song

Edit: Finished the tower theme for piano. Do you think I should change the octaves? (personally i think maybe lowering the accompanying piano, [i.e. not the main melody] by an octave might sound better). Attached both for you to decide!

Have you tried leaving the main melody in the high octave while the rest plays an octave down?

And hey, I'm new here. I'm trying to get going with music transcriptions more than midis (although I'll probably upload them too). I'm currently working on a piano transcription of The 13 Anthology with some added parts (dealing with the other organization songs). . . :)

My attempt at the final (as in FINAL) battle theme from Birth by Sleep for piano. The FotU/Destati bit towards the end is impossible unless you have gigantic hands :heh:, so I'm gonna try and make that part easier, if anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it ^_^

That song is beyond epic, It's my favourite boss music too ^_^. I'd love to try doing the full instrumental version, but the trial version of Finale doesn't have a string ensemble sound and none of the choir sounds work properly, they just sound like the piano :huh:. I hope I can get my hands on the full version soon
