Hey all. Now, I know we all buy stuff at an impulse or through various research in buying that one item in the store or online. So, I'm curious as in what members here buy themselves everyday or mostly everyday. Food doesn't count because.....well, it's common sense. So share what you have purchased recently and if you like, why. Are you happy with it or having buyer's remorse? I'll start us off.
I recently bought another DSLR. A Nikon D3100.Well, after I bought it, I had major buyer's remorse and almost listed my old SLR on eBay, but after calming down a bit and buying a new camera bag, tripod, and lenses, I'm now happy I got it.
That is, until I found out Nikon just released their new D5100.
Eh, doesn't matter much since it doesn't have much differences with mine so I'm happy because it can shoot 1080p HD videos.

Electro-Harmonix Germanium 4 Big Muff Pi Overdrive and Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal
I LOVE this pedal. Just got it in the mail today and already spent about four hours messing with the settings. Can't wait till I get home from work to wake up all my neighbors.

My PSU had a heart attack, I got a new one yesterday. Tomorrow probably I will be buying a Hard Drive to dump a pool of sounds. I am low on money so I will be getting the Western Digital WD1002FAEX Caviar Black Hard Drive - 1TB, 7200RPM, 64MB, SATA 6Gbs. I wish I could afford many SSD!
When you dare, you go further, experience new things and learn.

I don't buy many things these days, besides gas and the occasional crappy food, however, this was my last real purchase of something... a champion on League of Legends. Hah xD

Actually, the CMOS chip in the D5100 is "supposed" to be better, as the D3100 tends to have a blurry capture and post processed dot-pinch, resulting in really bad micro-quality when compared to the equivalent Pentax, Canon, and Sony models, although you do get the nicer lenses with Nikon.

^ yup, like I said, minimal differences, not much that I care that is since i don't take a lot of micro shots. I'm starting on a business in photography shooting such as engagements and outside family portraits.
If my friend wants to buy my D3000 I'll probably go ahead and get the D7000 as well.
I'm waiting on my shipment on items I bought on eBay: a new Nikkor 28-85mm lens, Nikon camera bag, and Nikon tripod.
Now I just need a 50mm 1.8/4.5f lens, and a 105mm lens and I'm set.
@ Nyuu. Nice. Those are great HDs but I wouldn't get the SATA6 one if you don't have a motherboard that supports SATA 6s. I'm also at that WD 1TB SATA 6 HD too. My SSD is basically my backup and emergency-rushing drive since it boots up less than 40 seconds for me, and another 10 seconds to be on the internet to search for something in a hurry.
