every time i try it always says
"You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo"
whats this supposed to mean?

It means that you have to change the file type. You can see what kind of file it is by looking at the file extension= .JPG or .GIF for example. You're using a file type which isn't allowed, so change it in a graohics program to one you're allowed to use.

im really stupid.....
i still cant seem to get it up
mostly because i have not idea what a Graohics program is

What kind of file are you trying to post? Put up the full file name.

You can't upload BMPs to Ichigos - they're usually too big. Open it in paint, and go to the File menu and click "Save as" - there's a little drop down menu underneath the box where you type your filename. Click that dropdown menu and select either *.JPEG/*.JPG, *.PNG, or *.GIF - PNG is the best quality one but if your resulting file size is over 50kb you'll have to change it to JPG, as Ichigos doesn't allow you to upload an avatar over 50kb

mine only has BMP and DIB (( i hink it was DIB.. ))

Naffness X_X Okay, I've resaved it for you in my Paint program, but download this: http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/

And see if that has the capacity to save BMP files as jpgs for when you need them in future
