My friend, the composer [PART TWO] Ends: 29th FEBRUARY
The official timeline of the contest is 11th January - 29th February. This is well enough time for every team to settle and run ideas with eachother. Here are the final guidelines;
1. The final product must be a piece which both composers have contributed a reasonable amount of time and effort into. (Sorry for ending that sentence with a preposition)
2a. The final product is free to be submitted in any format, although it is highly recomended that it is at least in either .mid or mp3. This is because the jury needs an easy way to listen to your composition.
2b. Scores and/or work product is allowed to 'enhance' the listener's experience. Recomended formats are .pdf, .jpg, .mus, .sib.
2c. If you have multiple files to be submitted (Ex; Music file, sheets, description/disclaimer) they should be either zipped (.zip) or rared (.rar) to make things easier.
3a. When the product is finished, it is to be submitted to THIS thread with to following information along with the attachment: (Team name) Partners' names, composition title.
3b. The absolute deadline of this competition is February 29th.
4. The voting will be decided upon later.

So... if anyone posts a composition, it technically would be the winner?

Quick question
When you say it's due Feb 29th do you mean BY Feb 29th or at the End of Feb 29th...[For ex. When you check on Feb 29th does it have to be in or can we keep working on Feb 29th and turn it in sometime later that day.] Also what time zone? -.-

Hmmm, Noir7 have been dead from Feb 14. He should revive before the 29 or the 29.

I'm going to take it as before the end of the 29th, since the original post doesn't say something like due at 12:01 am, February 29th. Though, it might have been helpful if he had posted a Time and Date countdown timer to avoid time-zone confusions and whatnot.

Tianlong and PorscheGTIII (AKA The Winning Team) present...
雪の涙 - Yuki no Namida
"Tears of Snow"
A poem to go along with the song, please read first!
Code:
There stands a girl,
In the middle of a barren snow covered field,
Hands covering her chest waiting...
waiting...
waiting...
There marches a boy into battle,
Spear in the right, shield in the left,
Sudden silence...
coldness...
darkness...
A soft death.
The soldiers return,
Joy fills the air: Victory!
The girl runs through the crowd,searching...
Searching...
Searching...
Snow begins to fall,
A loved one has died,
So there stands the girl,
In the middle of a barren snow covered field,
Hands covering her chest waiting...
waiting...
waiting...
To no avail.

This is subject to change within the next day, but I'll submit it now just in case.
Presenting Team Crumble-Onuts' (Maestrossetti's and Deathraider's) String Quartet in Eb Major in two movements:
To blend our two very different styles, we each created a main theme and used both themes within the movement. See if you can pick out the themes.

I most say the 3 entries are great! Congratulation guys!
Unfortunely My partner and I can't participate due he got busy all this time and we saw each other less of five times. If someone wondering our theme was going to be a Pirate theme with a story sticked.
Anyway Congratulations for such good work!
Edit: Noir7 is alive right? o_0

I'd say just post what you have, and maybe swap it out later if you have teh opportunity .
Anyhow, here's the entry from team Skorchin' Shizeet! It doesn't really have a title, but maybe Skorch would like to provide one (just like the for the team name ).
This one was a bit of rush job since the piece pretty much came together this last week (fortunately during which I've had break). Basically it consisted me of arranging and orchestrating Skorch's piano sketches into a full blown piece. Haven't really thought of a specific program for this piece despite it sounding pretty programmatic (my little sister said it sounded like a banquet for flower people?! ) - it sounds sort of like processional at parts, but usually has a mischeviously playful tone. Take your pick I guess.
The midi isn't exactly the same as what I used for the audio version (which has been retweak for balance, along with some notetriggers for extra articulations); if you are going to listen to the MIDI only, I'd advise hearing it with the GM soundfont bank airfont340 (which I sketched the whole piece in basically).
So without further ado:
Entry

This is really weird..... Hope everything is ok for Noir7 and Sirdotdot.
By the way, I thought a lot more teams were competing here. Seems we only got four compositions...
